The near death of the CDs and the retrospective return of the vinyl records and cassettes doesn't change the reality of how most people listen to music nowadays. The world is connected in social media networks and there is not much we can do to alter this path. The old giant record companies that made billions in the manufacturing of physical media have all ready jumped on this train. That's why digital publishing and streaming of music, film and books increase steady and that's why the modern version of an independent small record company has to be on all available digital platforms. My name is Magnus Hogdahl and I am the owner of 44 Skull Records and three Sub Labels named Gothenburg Legacy Records, Parallelogram Records & 44US Records. I work closely with artists that I trust and believe in. I am a musician myself and the band I'm in, (Skull Parade), is of course the main reason that I started this activity from the beginning. The fantastic artists on my labels has trusted me to be their portal to the huge digital market of music and I have the same trust in them as artists. They have or don't have a plan and a strategy to be successful in the music business. All of them has been around in the business for many years and they all have this burning passion for the most important thing, the great power of music in itself. All the labels are working with one important key: authenticity. This is the reason we only work with experienced artists. The artists know where they want to go, how high they want to reach and what they need to have from a very small firm like mine. You find the labels and the artists on the start page.
